Back in February it was said that Nigo, founder of "A BATHING APE" clothing, had sold his empire for $2.8million due to outstanding debts. Fast forward to now and Jay-Z, one of the most powerful people in entertainment right now has just signed on to partner up with Pharrell Williams ever popular "Billionaire Boys Club" brand. Nigo has partnership in the company as well. It was reported earlier this week from GQ that Jay-Z was buying the company himself and would be running things from now on. This is not the case. Earlier this morning Jay 'ghost-twitter' account tweeted this message,
"Partnering with @4real4rell on BBC" follow him.. (Not "buying" as GQ erroneously reported.).
I think somebody should be losing their job over at GQ for this mistake. In any case "BBC" will be under the ROCNATION umbrella and Pharrell will still keep creative control over the company.
