Super talented and unique vocalist Sampha released his debut studio project the DUAL LP through Young Turks Records. Its a different setting this time, if you are already familiar with his music. Dark phone recordings open and close the album, while mellow vibe interludes fill the rest. Records like Demons and Can't Get Close Show how amazing and versatile of a singer Sampha is. I first discovered his music a couple years back from his work with odd producer music dj SBTRKT. Most recently his trademark sound make it all the way to a Drake song entitled The Motion. This DUAL LP is nothing less than perfect. So much blood sweat tears and emotion must have gone into this debut and it shows as soon as you hit play.
