Rich Hil tweeted the other day, "This has taken 2 years to put out but my whole life to make." The album Support Your Local Drug Dealer was apparently scheduled to release today, but his label Warner Bros. disregarded that idea and tried shelving it. Instead of acting like a robot, Rich Hil "Frank Oceans" his debut studio album for free exclusively through noisey.vice.com.
The album is everything you could ever want in a Rich Hil album; good writing, harmonies, drugged out rap singsongs, and a feature from The Weeknd on Nomad's. Hil's longtime co tail and good friend Boo Bonic link up for the record Understand Me. Leona Lewis has as a special guest on drug ballad Fix Me. Rich Hil makes drugs cool and this album will definitely make a permanent burn mark in the industry.
