The Weeknd Live @ FONDA Theatre 5.6.12 [Watch]

After seeing Abel aka The Weeknd perform at Coachella a few weeks back, I thought his performance would have been a career ender, but I gave him that second chance to redeem himself at his solo show in Los Angeles over the weekend. He not only redeemed himself, but went above and beyond any expectations or doubts I had about him in my mind. The Fonda Theatre was overcapacity Sunday May 6, 2012 for none other than the man himself, Abel Tesfaye. With the industries biggest names in the crowd, such as music vets Rick Rubin and Pharrell Williams, there was no room for errors. A slew of records were played from opening the show with the classic High For This to Drake's heavily covered Trust Issues. Not to mention Weeknd closing out the night with a raw rap performance of Glass Table Girls. This is one of the greatest shows I have been to in a very long time, besides Radiohead at Coachella. The House Of Balloons Tour is not something to sleep on. Unfortunately if you don't have tickets already then you have been sleeping. Check out a couple videos below of the Weeknd molesting the crowd with his song & dance. #nextinshow.
