In case you missed it 30 Rock is doing live shows for the moment and the other day they mimed several old school shows that used to be on NBC, one of the shows Alfie and Abner. In fact during the time of airing the original show both characters were indeed played by a black man and a white guy. The purpose, simply to keep the audience comfortable, it as assumed an all black cast would make the audience tense. Probably true during these times. Fortunately John Hamm is able to play the part as a comedian and actor and not as someone getting paid to act black. My favorite line is when he walks in and say's "I dun stole dis catfish" hahahaha Meh, I liked the job he did I indeed laughed and hope you all can catch a grin. Enjoy
