Casey Veggies x Customized Greatly Vol. 3 Mixtape Track-By-Track Review

Sleeping in class is what losers do, but Casey Veggies made it cool. In the past past month young Veggies has been on his hustle to destruct the world with his music. Still unsigned and independent, he headlined his first show at The Roxy Theater in California as well as got some great praise from @elliotwilson and Rap Radar a major hip hop blog. Don't forget the Bobby Fresh Fashion Show that took place in Arizona. I present to you the hyped up, laid back sounds of Casey Veggies (translated into words).

Casey Veggies x Customized Greatly Vol. 3 Mixtape Track-By-Track Review

The title track Customized Greatly is a mellow beat produced by Uncle Dave. Casey Veggies basically goes off for 3 minutes uninterrupted.

Preme Beats developed Garden; a true sounding jazzy horn sample infused with some of the hardest hitting drum patterns I have heard in awhile. It doesn't matter what production is used with this CV. He is able to adapt with different styles.

Of course on every mixtape you have to have your street anthem and that's exactly what you have hear with Toe Tag. Production is courtesy of Woody who turns it up loud. I can already foresee stage dives and riots with this one. "Toe Tag Body Bag Hit Em Wit The Swag" goes the chorus.

Roses is produced by Roosevelt a local who you could say, gets around. I'm wondering who's vocals are sample throughout the song. On the hook you notice he tries out the monotone sounding approach. It works. "Everybody Waving Heeyyy..."

The next track starts off kind of sweaty. Swag Worth A Mill isn't as turnt up as you think. For 2 minutes Casey breaks down his swag on a mellow vibe.

A harp of some sort is sampled crazy in the track Go Crazy produced by J Poundz. Casey shouts out Los Angeles to the fullest and gives credit to all his people who have been around since day one, including Wolf Haley aka Tyler and Odd Future.

On the track When You See The Kid, correct me if I'm wrong, but Casey gets his J. Cole  on for the hook. Fly Union provides the horn samples and a classic east meets west sound.

Very few features are made on CG3, but when one appears it's a movie. Take Life Rhymes, which features the voice of an angel known as Jhene Aiko. Her smooth harmonies are embedded all over the track. Production is done by FreshChuck. "I got all the shit in motion, I got so much shit to do, I'm just grinding getting focused, man I put that on my crew..." are words to live by.

Nobody features sample techniques used by Kanye West and Lana Del Rey. "HEY". I haven't stayed lived in New York, but can imagine this song sounds like a NY state mind. Like I said, Casey is a versatile rapper, who has and will change up his style with growth. Production is done by Krys Shun.

This is what you have been waiting for. PCINTLOFWGKTA. Interesting acronym. Both squads come together to create another movie. First Casey, then Dom O Genesis, then Tyler, then Hodgy; 1 bottle, 2 models, 3 bottle, pour and finally a the suicide by Earl Sweatshirt. Confusing ass song, but all comes together by the end. Tyler, The Creator also blesses Young Veggies with a trademark Wolf Haley beat.

You Got It/Fantasy explains the mind of Casey, when it comes to his females. Wes Dees stays laid back on his production. The record also serves as a two part story. Halfway through the song the interlude known as Fantasy breaks down and production from Beats4Clothes.

Recently Veggies leaked the track Get That $ produced by Polyester. We will get to that in a minute. Sex Sells comes with the same innovative fresh sounds of Polyester with a twist of S.O.T.U. Casey lyrically murders the beat.

AWW MANN! Get That $ also produced by Polyester sounds like a trill tune. The track was initially leaked last week and became viral within hours. I was always listening to Casey Veggies in the past, but honestly this track solidified me as a fan.

Verified was another track that leaked the night after Get That $ leaked. J-Hawk produces a southern sounding street anthem. The hook goes "Verified N**** Everything Official". Casey needs to open his next show with this one. Instant crowd pleaser.

The next feature film is from original r&b singer Raheem Devaughn. Thoughts Weigh is the only record with a major production credit on it. All production is given an A+ on the mixtape. Production duo veterans known as Tha Bizness just have a bit more of a portfolio.

Euphoria is back with the third installment in the song series. Producer Sha Baby makes riding music for a perfect Los Angeles day, like today. From what it sounds like, Notorious B.I.G. makes an appearance through a sample.

Maybe I Should Go ends the Customized Greatly Vol. 3 Mixtape. FreshChuck adds another mellow dramatic beat to the track list.

Casey Veggies speaks truth in his lyrics about Los Angeles, women, and his everyday lifestyle. Customized Greatly is the next best thing in entertainment at the moment so download as soon as possible and enjoy. Presented by Peas&CarrotsInternational
