10 years ago, the world was introduced to a little device called the iPod. Although the idea of an mp3 player wasn't their idea, it revolutionized the way we would listen to music forever. To listen to this music void a personal player online sites have flourished among our angst and childish needs for our "favorite" songs. Using many I have dwindled down, stopped using and just recently finally found my cup of tea. Spotify.
As of July 2011 the catalog provides access to approximately 15 million songs via searching for artists, albums, titles, labels and genres. Spotify also gives users access to tracks from many major and independent labels. Now, after a decade and the mobile market booming, it's only right that a company aside from Pandora, brings us the ability to stream our music from our wireless devices. For now, this Swiss company is privately owned, and there is no future date of the company publicly sharing. Not only can you stream to your computer, but for $9.99 a month you can purchase a Premium Subscription which allows you to stream your music/playlist to any of your mobile devices (android/iPhone/iPad/etc).
This could be #nextinshow or it could be like XM Radio, which bombed.
