BRAIDS is an art rock electronic indie pop band out of Calgary, Alberta. Not doing too many shows at the moment in the states, but look out for them in Los Angeles at Bootleg Bar October 17. BRAIDS new project FLOURISH // PERISH is beautifully sounding with what sounds like influences from many including maybe, thom yorke and a little bjork. A consistent flow throughout the entire album, with standout songs like Amends Fruend and December. Haven't heard a complete album that I could listen to cruising down the southern California coast on a hot day, or during a dark storm filled monday. Unreal sounds and transitions provided by BRAIDS.
