PROMO VIDEO: The-Dream @thekingdream x Beyonce x 2 Chainz - TURNT #GIMMESOMEIVPLAY

Since Def Jam went minimal with The Dream IV Play album push, Terius takes matters into his own hands and begins releasing visuals of his singles. Visuals include a woman seducing the camera to the fullest. Great rogue promotion by the Radio Killa. Turnt is a great song featuring Beyonce and 2 Chainz. Another ratcHIT.

LISTENING PARTY REVIEW: The-Dream @thekingdream - IV Play

It was all The Dream, at SoHo House LA on Thursday May 16th. The select few from the entertainment industry as well as Def Jam exec’s were in the building. After running around the address of 9200 Sunset Blvd., I finally discovered The Soho House, where The Dream was holding a very private and intimate listening party for his upcoming album IV Play. This project is finally being released on May 28th, and like Dream has said in the past, “you going to love me or hate me all summer.”
From about 8PM until 930 the guests were catered with drinks and appetizers. DJ Sour Milk spun an “all Dream everything” set including all of his singles and written records. The vibe was mellow, until Terius Nash aka The Dream showed up. From there on it was a Stan event for fans and perfect opportunities for everyone to get a photo with the Radio Killa himself. Dream made his way to the dj booth, where he would be stationed all night as host/mc. A special shout out to all of his supporters, his team (manager Chaka Pilgrim and A&R Karen Kwak), and everyone involved in the album. Featured artists like 2 Chainz, Big Sean and Jay-Z could not make the event, but one very important person did, Miss Kelly Rowland was there in support of the album and what looked like in support of the San Antonio Spurs victory over Golden State. The songs were played in order for the most part. A record called Too Early featuring Gary Clark, Jr. was such an important record to Dream that he cued up the song again on his retro iPod w/ a dial. Nevertheless the crowd of people approved and continued to vibe. When the album was finished the party wasn’t over, but this ends my recap from the night. Standout tracks to me were “Equestrian”, “High Art” featuring Jay-Z, “Turnt” and “Tron.” via Rapdose

Rihanna - Unapologetic [REVIEW]

It seems like since Rihanna first began her career in 2005, she has released a multi-platinum project and each time she surprises the world with her radio hits and infectious classics. Now Rihanna releases her seventh studio album via Roc NationUnapologetic, and at such a young age of 24, life looks extra bright for her career. To promote the album, herself has conceived the idea of a 777 tour. This includes a 7 date tour across 7 different countries. A most intimate experience, with shows in smaller venues and she is only traveling with journalists and friends.

This album Unapologetic has much depth and versatility from her previous albums. By now she is comfortable with herself as an artist to indulge in new styles and step outside her comfort zone. It works in her favor, with tracks like a Mike Will Made It produced track Power It Up, Rihanna spits a blazing flow with a chorus like,  "all I see is signs, all i see is dollar signs...throw it up throw it up, watch it all fall out". No doubt there will be an official remix for this record. Another record that was different in a good way was Numb which featured Eminem. The feeling when I first heard the record is indescribable  Oak and Pop Wansel, who are known as the team who produced Big Sean's Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay record, produce the Kanye and Connie Mitchell sampled hit. I didn't understand it until I heard several times. Her wordplay is impeccable on this one. A Kanye West sample from the Graduation album, Can't Tell Me Nothin' haunts the chorus. Eminem, of course rips apart the end of the track with a hypnotic story line.
The albums first single Diamonds is not only a fresh sound, but an easy multi-platinum single. Lets forget the fact that Rihanna is singing, but when you involve Benny Blanco with 13 number 1 singles at only 24 and So Sick producer Stargate, it becomes revolutionary. Sia lends her beautiful poetry to Rihanna and makes this an easy stand out record. Kanye West showed up on the official remix too. An interesting combination of producers involved on Unapologetic, but found David Guetta and Terius Nash (The-Dream) on two records together subliminally.

Both artists show up under the writing and production credits for the opening track Phresh Out The Runway and Right Now. The-Dream also co produces two separate records with Los Da Mystro, Love Without Tragedy / Mother Mary and the media spectacle record featuring ex boyfriend Chris Brown. Both take on the portrayal and style of the late Michael Jackson throughout the song. "Ain't nobodies business, ain't nobodies business..." Jump explores the dubstep lifestyle, while borrowing the classic Ginuwine hook, written by Timbaland and Static Major, "Come on and lets do it, ride it, my pony, my saddle is waiting, come and jump on it." After comes a explosion of dirty dubstep and bass. Produced by Chase & Status, an English electronic production team and a surprise few bars from KY. What happens to be my favorite record from the album at the moment, is the Future featured Loveeeee Song. Future sings the thug out of him and autotunes just right. Powerful song produced by new producer to my knowledge Blue JuneUnapologetic offers an emotional insight into Rihanna's, but shows more vulnerability on records like What Now and Lost In Paradise

I think Rihanna is a very talented entertainer and artist and will always have support from her 26 million twitter fans and real life fans in the world. Go buy Unapologetic November 19, 2012.

The-Dream x Pusha T | Dope Bitch [HOTTT]

Radiokilla The-Dream goes for the gold with his new record Dope Bitch. It features Pusha T whereas last week Pusha put out a record, Exodus 23:1 featuring The-Dream. Confusing, but there must be a bigger picture for this madness. Rumor has it Terius Nash (Dream) is heavily working with Pusha T in the studio for his debut solo album.

Pusha T x The-Dream | Exodus 23:1

Wow this record just slapped me in the face. No comment other than Pusha T & The-Dream are metaphorically murdering someone in the game on this hott one. Exodus 23:1 might be taking shots at Drake & The Weeknd. G.O.O.D Music Compilation coming soon.
