The Lee Daniels film The Butler is already getting big buzz due to it's possible cast being full of Hollywood's and TV's best actors and actresses. You see the film is about the White House butler Eugene Allen who started off as a 'pantry boy'. Over is 34 year tenure at the White House Allen was witness and forefront to some of history's most cherished and shocking moments like the assassination of MLK and the Vietnam War. I couldn't even start to fathom the stuff he seen and heard and possibly even called by some of our presidents. It's pretty remarkable this film is being made so we can all get an in depth look of how blacks were treated inside of the White House during the time where blacks were still segregated in Virginia to an extent.
Oprah Winfrey, Mila Kunis, Liam Neeson, Hugh Jackman and David Oyelowo are all said to be interested or already cast for the biopic. No release date has been set as the film is still under construction.
